Q--I recently had occasion to change a tire. These events never happen at a good time and I was wondering how I was going to clean my hands after the job was done. It dawned on me that I had a couple of plastic sleeves from the morning newspapers in the back seat. They worked great as makeshift gloves! My hands were spotless and didn't even pick up any grease odor. The plastic film is surprisingly strong. Maybe it will help out someone else.
A--Great to hear there is life beyond the driveway for those plastic sleeves our newspapers come in. Have you sent your idea to Heloise?
