The concept – named after the company's founder Nuccio Bertone, who passed away in 1997 – appears to take inspiration from the 1970 Lancia Stratos HF Zero, one of Bertone's most famous designs, created by Marcello Gandini.
The similarities in these teaser sketches include the extreme wedge profile and hood/windscreen surface, highlighted in orange.
The Nuccio has been designed under Bertone Design Director Michael Robinson and will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show on 6 March.
From there, it will take it on a world tour with stops at the Beijing Motor Show in April, the Museum of Turin in May, Laguna Seca USA in August, and Florence, Italy in September.
The 1970 Lancia Stratos HF Zero prototype was sold by RM Auctions at Villa d'Este last year for 761,600 euros (more than US $1 million).
